hi all - i was wondering how open gs is to switching locations after sa (assuming return offer). curious about both healthcare and tmt and switching from sf to ny.

not possible… internal mobility at GS is not as straightforward as they make it seem
From the GS people I've spoken with, internal mobility is definitely more difficult there. I've been told by several folks that you'd have to interview with what seems like countless amount of people in the new group/location you intend to join. It's possible, but very strenuous.
What if it’s within the same group that has multiple locations?
