Have you ever heard of someone lateralling from bank A to bank B then back to bank A?
I know a VP who was at a mid tier BB in NYC from SA to As1 then moved to another mid tier BB but in a regional office where he's now made VP. Now he wants to move back to the first bank but at a regional office in a third city.
Just wondering, how is a move like that viewed? Is it generally challenging to move back to your old bank once you've left?

I remember there was a thread awhile ago too about someone sharing their story moving from what I believe was an EB to a small PE firm and then was actually called by their EB to come back, which he did
