I'm almost about to start my SA role at an IB. I just got reached out by a headhunter (Henkel) and I am expected to graduate next year. I don't know how to approach this and to whether sign up for their candidate portal. Like is it possible for a junior to network with headhunters? I am just clueless as to how these headhunter processes work.

Got the email too…pretty sure they’re already looking at us for Summer 2027 start date for associate roles in PE mainly (or HF at any date if you’re into that). They’ve been ramping up the timelines and this is just another example of it. I’d sign up so you’re in the system and in the loop about events senior year and the summer going into FT.

The questionnaire asks if you'd be interested in FT PE analyst recruiting. I'd imagine they're building out their database for FT PE analyst processes once the internship ends.

The last question on the form asked about other SAs in my group. Is that a normal question? Why would they want me to be providing that information, as I assume that they have it and that is how they got my information?
