Help. 2025 Grad from Semi-Target — Seeking Advice on Breaking into IB Post-Grad

Hey all,

Straight to the point — I couldn’t land an IB offer senior year due to personal circumstances. All my internships have been in India (U.S. citizen, so no sponsorship needed): real estate investing with a regional firm (valuations: DCF, comps, etc.), a consulting role, and a small real estate venture I started. I graduated in May 2025 from a southern (high?) semi-target. Double major (including Econ) and double minor (including Business) with a 3.95 GPA.

What’s the best path forward… should I be grinding technicals and networking aggressively for off-cycle analyst roles now, or setting myself up for 2026 FT recruiting instead? For technical  prep, is M&I 400 enough for recent-grad analyst interviews, or should I also work through WSP Red Book and Rosenbaum & Pearl? Any other advice on how to best position myself given my background would be hugely appreciated.

Additionally, would applying to recent grad programs in the UK?

Ps. I'm also considering preapring for consulting if the IB ship has sailed for me.

Thanks in advance and open to any guidance you all have to offer.
