HELP!! Background check for CFA

Hi I just get an offer from a BB and is currently going through background check. The background checking firm is asking about 'attendance date with CFA institute for my professional qualification'. I suddenly rmb that on my cv i put 'CFA(passed level 3)' under the column qualification, but i didn't put CFA next to my name on CV cuz though i passed level 3, i hvn't applied for being chartered yet.

I did't do it on purpose cuz previously i put CFA(level 3 candidate) and i just changed it after i passed lvl 3. Now i think about it, it seems a bit misleading/confusing.

Would the background check firm misunderstood and thought i meant i already hv the CFA? should I email them or HR to clarify?

Thanks!

Lol It should be fine because you wrote Passed Level 3 (assuming during the interview you didn't say you were a CFA charterholder), however I am surprised that after passing all three levels, you don't know how to write how you passed as per guidelines of the CFA, as your way definitely violates the rules.

I suggest googling the rules of writing your CFA status.

Congrats!
