Help Choosing Between Cowen Group and International Securities Exchange

Hi all,

Been a long time reader, first time posting and will be going into my junior year in the Fall.

I was wondering if any of you knew anything about Cowen's Equity Research or ISE (International Securities Exchange). I have internship offers to both for this summer in NYC and need to decide by this week. I'm not exactly sure what career I want to be pursuing so I just want to have experience that will be useful to my major in finance and actuarial science.

At ISE, I would be a market surveillance intern and work on statistical analysis. Within Cowen, I would be working specifically with the China Health Care group. Responsibilities include initiating companies which sounds like a lot of writing and putting together data for reports or presentations.

I used the search function on Cowen but only found info on the IBD and how its a "sinking ship" but not sure if that also applies to the equity research division. Thanks so much for your help.
