Homeowner Foreclosures on Bank of America (Yes, You Heard That Right)
Hey guys, check out this news story:
http://www.digtriad.com/news/watercooler/article/…
"In a modern-day evocation of David’s slingshot triumph over Goliath, a couple of foreclosed homeowners in Naples, Florida reportedly foreclosed on a Bank of America branch last week, their attorney actually having moving trucks pull up in front of a Naples branch to execute a foreclosure judgment against the bank"
This happened a while back. NPR gave extensive coverage on this...
Ah, you are right... it is dated June 5. A friend just sent this to me and I hadn't seen it yet.
Surprised they couldn't get treble damages. If I buy a home for cash and have to schlep myself to court because a bank made a mistake simply to keep my house, I want 3x the legal fees back.
