If you take the job in LA you’ll be on NYC time (i.e. have to be in office by 6am)

 

they do waterfall analysis but not a ton of traditional financial modeling, lot more investor outreach. have seen them work hand in hand with rx on a large number of deals but usually rx will handle the model in these cases

 

is now capital solutions group, basically merged CM and the private funds group so all fundraising + structuring is in one group. culture seems decent, seniors are friendly, and hours are more stable than CF i would say, can only speak to NY though. heard in passing that not much pitching happens, sponsors are most of their business and usually sponsors will reach out to them and the team will reach out to investors

 

Thank you I appreciate this info! Do you know if private capital markets teams at other boutiques get more exposure to financial modeling? I like PCM given the secular trends in private credit, but I worry about the lack of financial modeling for exit opps
