hi, I have simple question for Houlihan Lokey.
I knew HL is one of the top 5 restructuring firms in United States.
However, when I visited their website, it shows that they had pretty good M&A transactions as a boutique IB.
If you have a chance to work both department (Restructuring and M&A), which one do you prefer in terms of experience, culture, exit, and salary?

HL is more of an MM shop for M&A, but their restructuring is one of the top (I'd place it in the top tier with EVR/LAZ/PJT). Salaries are similar but exits are much better for restructuring.
