Housing Dilemma - advice needed
All,
I'll be in interning at a BB this summer near FiDi, but have yet to secure housing.
I have two options on the table.
1.) Shoebox single room in a dodgy East Village apt across from Tompkin Square Park (sublet) -Limited train access -Ambiguous safety? -No A/C -Cheap rent
2.) EHS housing near Union square -Double instead of single -strict fees and security (if i get lucky at bars ;) ) -living with other wall street interns probably -easy access to 4/5/6 train
What would you guys do? What matters more, having your own place/room, or having better train access and air conditioning? EHS is $1K more total summer price, but not too concerned about that.
All reaponses welcome, Thanks
