How Bad Is It to Renege on an Offer on the Street?
I got a return offer from my IB Summer Analyst role, and someone at another bank reached out to chat about an Analyst role on their team. I’ve already accepted my return offer and like my team, so I’m hesitant to explore it. Would it be a bad way to start my career by reneging on my offer? I’m currently in a product group at a MM bank, while the other opportunity is with a coverage group at another MM bank.
