How concerned should I be over GPA?

Hi everybody. I'm currently a Junior at a target school, and I have secured a SA position at a MM in NY. My GPA has been on a declining trend, however. Its currently a 3.3 at my target, and when I factor in my grades from a previous institution that I transferred from, it comes to about a 3.6. I am planning on doing everything I can to bring it back up, but I'm a little concerned about my current position. I can see myself staying at my current firm that I will be interning at, and perhaps looking to move into Lower MM (or if possible MM) Private Equity. How much of a factor will my undergraduate GPA play for buyside recruiting? Thanks!
