Here's my question guys, after paying for loans, rent, car, etc, how much money realistically do I need left over living in Manhattan or outer boroughs. Hours will be a lot so I presume going out expenses will be kept to weekends, but what is kinda the minimum number needed to get by? Thanks.

As a native New Yorker, I can tell you that a car is definitely not worth it even if you live in the outer boroughs.
