With WFH, many of us SA's did not have to pay for rent/food/transportation like we would normally. So, how much did you make this summer, and how much were you able to save?

Unpaid internship and spent savings on food and stuff throughout the summer, so negative amounts.

Saved like 15k and bought a Rolex, so now 0

Saved 15k post tax, spent 2k on new clothes, blew 1k on sports betting. Signing bonus coming at a perfect time lol
Brought in a little over 35k pre-tax. Lows 20s post tax, but definitely expecting a fat tax return
Made a total of $7k after tax. Saved every penny and put it right into a Roth
When do FT signing bonus hit? Immediately after signing or when we start ft next year?
My contract says on or before 31st March so I expect it to be in March.
Barc signing bonus pays "within 90 days of signing" but I've heard it usually hits in August if you sign quick enough. That being said, even within 90 days of signing is pretty good.
Saved $1.5k - Had my internship in person in NYC. Lived in a nice area of Manhattan and had bottle service at clubs at least twice a week. Best summer of my life.

Congrats to yall on saving the money. In some ways I’m jealous, and in others I feel a little bad. My internship summer was one of the most fun summers I have had - ever. 9 guys living in an NYU dorm in NYC during the summer and just going absolutely ham on the weekends. To this day I am still close with 5 of those guys and will continue to be for years to come hopefully. Kind taught me that some things are about more than saving money
