How to crush a technical interview

To all of you aspiring Analysts prepping for interview season, I thought I would share some helpful interview Q&A. If you memorize these you are guaranteed to succeed.

What’s the formula for CapM? -- Whatever makes the WACC 10%

Walk me through a DCF. -- You put the numbers in the template. WACC is 10%

If two companies have the same EBITDA but are valued at different multiples, what does that imply? -- We must be pitching the company valued at the higher multiple

Which is better, a terminal multiple or Gordon Growth and why? -- The Gordon Growth Rate. Originally identified by and named after Gordon Ramsey, it the marginal productivity produced by yelling at your analyst for 60 seconds.

I'd like you to come in Friday night at 11pm to organize the shared drive and deal folders -- Whatever pleases you master

If you have a compounding interest rate of 6% how long does it take for your money to double? -- One second while I get out my Excel machine

I don't understand this analysis, it must be wrong. Please redo -- Thank you for scrolling through my presentation on your iPhone for 30 seconds. Your detailed feedback is all I need to succeed at this important task

Which has a higher Beta, the U.S economy or the world economy? -- Trick question, Beta Theta Pi crushes the most beers

Why is the title on slide 87 misaligned by two pixels from the text? And, the period on slide 78, second sentence looks like the wrong font. ATTENTION TO DETAIL -- Please adjust my bonus to reflect this failure
