How to find what group bankers are working in

Hi guys,

So Im a rising senior, and I finally decided that I wanted to try out banking and thus, FT recruiting in the fall. I recently started sending out cold emails (this morning actually) to network and learn more about the industry and all those shenanigans. I got a couple replies (including one analyst that pointed out I got his name wrong yikes), and have a call scheduled for tomorrow.

It is the norm to do some research before the chat, but I'm having trouble even finding out what group/sector this analyst works in with their LinkedIn being so minimalist. How do you guys typically learn more about the person and their work before the call??

P.S. This is my first cold call, so also wondering what do you guys usually talk about on cold calls, the dynamics and such, does the other person typically do most of the talking?..
