How to get in to Media Investment Banking/PE

Previously, in college, I interned in Energy PE, then wanted to "follow my dreams" and moved to LA. I spent a year in the finance department at a major studio, then a year at a major agency only to hate LA and move back home to work again in Energy PE. How hard would it be to transition back in to entertainment, but entertainment IB or PE this time around? If it's worth a shot, what's the best way to go about it?
