How to kill time before Graduate (Summer convert)

Did a summer at a top BB (think GS/JPM/RBC) in M&A and was offered a full-time role for July 2025. However, my uni year ends in November and now I have 7 months (Dec-June) to kill. How would you recommend me to spend my time?

Do I do an internship in something chill like Wealth Management? PE fund? Corp Dev? Or a certification?

Travelling is kind of hard as I am a broke ass, so defo need to get at least some kind of income source before.

Pls lmk appreciate any tips

Honestly what I would do is spend time with family and friends since you won't have as many opportunities once you start working. If you can combine this with a short internship doing something interesting then I think you are pretty much set.

Maybe a short internship, but I'd say try and get some kind of part-time job for a while to earn some money and travel or learn a new hobby! You won't have the time to do this once you start, so developing new skills / growing personally might be a good way to spend some time

have a life. Get laid, maybe try some new things or substances. Travel a bit.

Sorry sir I think you’re in the wrong industry to get laid. GET BACK TO WORK!

I have the same issue here. I have about 6 months. Plan is to travel, golf a lot, spend time with family and friends, and work my part time job. The part time job isn't anything finance related, just something that lines up with my hobbies. Do what makes you happy

What part time gig u got homie? Also I tried applying and I get rejected for shit minimal wage jobs lol

not in the same situ as you, all i'm saying is just enjoy the downtime while you can. sucks re not having £ to travel rn as that'd be my rec but you're in a good spot relatively speaking. spend time with people you care about and enjoy the freedom & relative lack of responsibility before July
