How Versatile is this Resume?

I was pre-med for a long time, during which I worked in labs doing research, then decided I wanted to make money after my sophomore year of college. I did a PWM stint at a BB, and am now interning at a fortune 500 company. I understand this background would probably be fine for management consulting, but I was wondering what kind of finance positions would be open to me. I don't really have any knowledge about the subject, and I was wondering 1.) if I could even get interviews for either IBD positions or corporate finance positions and 2.) if I would make it past interviews to get the offer. I'd also be interested to hear what other careers would be open to me. I'd like a job that maximizes intellectual stimulation and money. (so I would consider both an IBD position, which is low on intellectual and very high on money, and also a consulting position, which is moderately high for both)

Ever considered healthcare investment banking? A decent percentage of analysts come from your sort of background (biomedical engineering, biology, pre-med)...probably would give you the intellectual stimulation you are looking for especially if you are focusing on the life sciences and biotech sectors.
Hey chimchim, thanks for the quick response. I have not considered IBanking in a specialized industry before. I did not realize that you got to choose an industry when applying for entry-level positions. I will look into this, thanks. Also, do you know how the resume requirements and interview will be? It doesn't seem like the interview would be significantly different if it's still for an IBanking position.
I don't think you can normally choose an industry when you are first applying/interviewing for Ibanking. Usually you are offered a position as a generalist and then can interview/pick what group you want to be in. However, you could say something like "Given my strong science/pre-medical background, I am definitely interested in your healthcare group" or reach out to alumni to see if they are doing HC banking and maybe you can get a group specific interview. Interviewing wouldn't be that much different from interviewing for other banking positions but it'll look impressive if you have a decent knowledge of the space and convey you have passion for the industry. As far as resume requirements, I would say you are in decent shape.
There are plenty of boutique banks out there that focus on the health care industry and all the bigger places will also have health care groups. Do a Google search for health care boutique firms, make a list of places and call to see if you can get a few minutes out of somebody (like MD level) for a short chat to see if health care banking is what you want to do.
I did healthcare IBD at a BB firm and I work in biotech finance at another BB. PM if you want. I had a similar background and I could tell you the pros / cons. Just in general though, when interviewing I was able to pitch tech / healthcare stocks but said I had an general interest in other industry groups so i wouldn't be dinged. But trust me, if you have an interest in healthcare and you go through the recruiting process you will probably get into healthcare IBD.
