How was banking done before computers?
Obviously, the use of computers has improved the ease and flow of business in IBD as it has every other industry.
My question is how was banking done before computers? Were models drawn by hand or on spreadsheet paper? It seems to me like that method would be highly prone to mistakes.
Anyone have any insight into this?

And it was awful. Mistakes were rampant. It's not like today where I get a pristine Excel sheet with odd colors, circular references, and wack fonts.
