Hypothetical Dilemma - I was offered to join one group but I want to be in another
Let's say I was offered a summer analyst position in Group X. However, I personally find Group X too niche and would like to be in Group Y.
Would you guys still take the offer or would you accept on the condition that they give you another group (but mention this in a less pompous manner)?
