Hypothetical Situation

Which internship would you choose for your 2nd summer (after sophomore year) if you were interested in getting BB IB internship or something similar in IB for your 3rd summer:

1. BB PWM (unpaid)
2. MM IB (unpaid)
3. Some financial operations stuff at State Street (paid)
4. corporate finance internship in a huge firm (10,000+ employees). Firm is listed on NYSE but is not into financial services. (paid)

Please arrange them in the order of preference where number one is your first choice.

I can definitely afford an unpaid internship.

I would appreciate if you could rank them in order of preference where first being the first choice.

Again, depends on your long-term goals.

I would rank them in the following manner based on my own goals:

  1. MM IB
  2. Corp Fin
  3. BB PWM
  4. State Street Ops
