I Can Create Any Email Address @myschool.edu, What Should I Choose?
I have the option to create an email address in the form of @myschool.edu.
I was thinking:
[email protected] [email protected] [email protected] (taken)
What do you think, and do you have other suggestions?

Whatever you do, just choose wisely. This is the address you'll be putting on your undergrad resume and employers will base 98% of their decision to hire you on whether or not you picked a good email format.

I do like gmail but i don't have my name available as an id there.

Have you tried firstinitial.middleinitial.lastname@gmail?
Leave out the periods in that situation

My school allows us to choose our own school email from variations of our names. I was wondering whether having first name only would seem unprofessional (?) but yet easy to remember.

Which should I use and why? Or it doesn't matter and I just wasted your time (sorry)?

Either is fine. I went with [email protected]. Properly capitalized, no punctuation.
our school uses first initial and last name...
