I feel like I have no purpose in life :(
The fastest way to fill this void is for me to be a hero. To that point I need suggestions on how to become a hero, nothing dangerous and nothing that sacrifices too much of my time, easier is better.

Ppl don't want to do something good, they want to be seen doing something good because it makes them feel all warm and fuzzy inside. This explains why no one wants to discreetly send 25% of their income to UNICEF to feed starving children in Africa. No they would rather latch onto some sort of noble cause (occupy wallst, abortion.. Sexual harrasment the election s) any issue that is in the media at the time.because hey, they want everyone to see how much a good person they are .
So they only really join these causes for selfish reasons, to pat themselves on the back. Once that cause fizzles out they move on to some other cause.

agreed, but i think its b/c they want to focus on concerns close @ home and don't give af about some child half a world away
