IB application too late
Hi monkeys, got hit up by a recruiter to apply to an ib off cycle internship. Literally hit me up a day after it was posted. I was in the process of moving and was super busy, I only managed to apply a week later, am i doomed ? Can’t get this of my mind. Should have been my first priority.
Text the recruiter saying you applied and don’t mention anything about when or what happened.
Shouldn’t be an issue unless it’s an egotistical recruiter who takes it personally.
Thanks for the advice, i reached out right after, the recruiter hasn’t come back to me yet.
I'm unsure whether this is a troll. On the chance that it is genuine, then hopefully my uncertainty on the troll status of your question is reassuring - no, you wouldn't be "doomed". Applications are probably reviewed on a first-come first-served basis, but that doesn't mean they'll throw out the application of a serious candidate because it was slightly later.
