IB - BofA - Best industry groups/product groups?

Hey everyone,

Which industry, product, or coverage groups (still learning the difference between them) are the best or most desirable to be apart of at Bank of America? I know there are other BBs and EBs with more deal flow and better reputations on the street but I'm a prospective MBA student and currently work for BofA in a different capacity and would be interested in returning post-MBA. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Agree with other posters M&A, LevFin, and FSG are the best for exit opps. Culture wise, LevFin sucks. FSG sucks to a lessor extent. M&A is fairly collaborative and let you do some work from home prior to pandemic, which was rare. But as with any large group, there are some bad apples.

Industrials/REGL is best culture - exit opps decent but not quite as good as others mentioned. Don't know much on TMT/C&R besides tough hours. Would avoid energy in general. Hope this helps.

This guy obviously has no idea what he is talking about. FSG has the best culture at BofA, period. REGL and M&A are known for long hours and tough culture sometimes.

Healthcare was a powerhouse but then dipped down for a while (wasnt "bad", just not what it used to be), but seems to be growing again. They had the sellside for Alexion, which was definitely a nice deal.

Dayman?
