Wow...do you always give the brands of the items you sport big guy!!

I've once had a girl turn over my tie to see what brand it was cause she found it absolutely beautiful. Granted it was a big brand...but who actually turns over a tie to see the brand, that would be the equivalent of me flipping over your dress to see the brand tag...WHO THE FUCK CARES..if it's nice than great...and if you can pull off a look with out it being a brand, then more kudos to you.

ive had assoc, vps,md flip my ties. in fact, it occurs almost everyday. I summer analysted it on a bond desk and the head told me "it was a Hermes desk." i said fuck that and showed up my second day in a 20$ tie. The guy told me not to come back if i couldnt appreciate the rules.

Fendi ties are hard to come by. I have never seen one in any of their boutiques. Somehow I managed to get one in my collection and its one of my favorite ties. Yves Saint Laurent makes very nice ties as well. Zegna ties are up there on my list as well.

I have one Hermes, but having dug through every tie at a Hermes boutique on several occasions, I can't say I particulary like the majority of their ties.

For shirts, I like Versace and Yves Saint Laurent, but unfortunetly Versace shirts don't have stays. They fit me very well though. There is a nice Italian brand called Enrico Venturi that makes great shirts for a reasonable price. You can find them online for about $100 to $120. Only problem is the buttons which are mother of pearl and impossible to replace when they break.

In the pants department, if i'm not wearing a suit, I like Incotex. You can find them at Niemans. If I am wearing a suit, then Zegna, Armani or Versace. Suits are hard to find though, it really comes down to the individual fabric and cut rather than a brand.

I used to love Feragamo shoes, but for the last two years I haven't seen a pair I liked. I haven't bought dress shoes appropriate for work in quite some time though. I did see a pair in the Hermes store that looked nice, but I think they were about $800.

My dress code is jeans and a t-shirt about four days a week now so I don't care too much anymore.

yes zegna is very nice, but i got my suits tailored at this place in hong kong called sam's tailor and it's even better. i think they tailored for every single US president since richard nixon and a bunch of famous people like the prince of wales, michael jackson, tony blair, the pope and etc. i believe they can make your suits out of silk also

Why the hell do ibankers feel the need to spend billions at some boutique for something they can find at Macys for $300? Come on, a suit is a suit. Whether you bought that suit at Marshall's or Needless markup (neiman marcus) is your business and nobody else's.

They do alterations you know if you ask...and there's nothing wrong with a suit from Ralph Lauren.
