Incoming Analyst Help - Training

I got a FT offer with Jefferies in an office other than NY. I didn’t do a SA stint in IB either. Today I overheard some kids in my class talking about IB and training in New York before starting at there specific offer locations. My offer letter doesn’t talk about any training though I would obviously imagine there will be some training. I have read about other banks and have found this to be pretty common. Can someone either from Jefferies or someone who knows about this give me some more information on this? Like I said, I am new to IB and had never heard of this before. If it’s in NYC then will I be provided housing/travel/food etc.?

My SA does a week of training at HQ, and they cover travel and lodging for everyone who isn't interning in the city where training is. They also said nothing about this in my offer letter and I only found out about it by speaking with people in the group. You are likely fine, just reach out to HR/someone in the group to confirm.
