Incoming Citi Summer Analyst - Travel Expenses

Hey everyone,

I'm an incoming Citi summer analyst, and I was wondering if anyone knows more about the travel expenses Citi offers. Specifically, I saw on their website that "Citi will pay for your round-trip air or Amtrak travel to and from your internship if you do not live within a commutable distance from your hire location." Does anyone know more about this or have experience with it in the past? I'm just trying to get a better understanding of what expenses are covered and what the process is like.

Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You will get the standard relo bonus of (I believe it's $2,000 post-tax). However, they also will pay for your round-trip flight (assuming you need to relocate Ie. You live in Chicago and are working in NYC). Keep in mind they will give you two options: 1. They pay for your initial flight both there and back home. 2. If you want to drive and bring a car you can get reimbursed later at (last time I checked around $.60/mile is typically what it is at most BBs). -Hope this helps

Policy on taxis home? Ik they are making you reimburse your dinners now, but if I have to reimburse taxi fares I'll just take train and bus.
