Incoming IB Analyst Prep

I am an incoming IB analyst and training starts July 10th. I interned at the bank last summer but deal flow was very slow so I did not learn much tbh. I don't have a strong background in finance (majored in poly sci at a T10 school).

Should I start prepping/studying before training even starts? For example, should I start relearning financial accounting info (forgot most of it after taking a class in it sophomore year lol). How necessary is this?

Does anyone have any advice on if it is necessary and what exactly I should be prepping before starting FT with a weaker finance background compared to other analyst in my class?
