If you go through your analyst stint in Industrials, are your PE options wide open? Or is it more common to remain in the chemicals / transportation / etc fields?
I don't mind working on those deals as an analyst, but not sure about doing it for entire career. Is it the more common EBITDA modeling skills that causes it to be sought after, or specifically because of the aforementioned verticals deal flow?

plenty of options from industrials. i've seen people goto growth equity shops, TMT hedge funds, consumer PE, generalist PE, etc.
What would say gives you a better overall skill set moving forward - TMT or Industrials? BB, not top but not bottom of the pack.
