Info on HLHZ

When you start fulltime as an Analyst at HLHZ in M&A, are you a generalist or are you assigned an industry?

Also, some on this forum have reported that HLHZ has raised first year Analyst salaries to $70K. Is this true? Is HLHZ's base salary the same across all locations? Or would Chicago/Minneapolis pay less than NYC?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Just spoke with someone there this morning and can confirm that if you work in M&A you start out as a generalist and are later moved to a specific industry
