Sorry my friend, but agree with the above. Rotational program may even be too good of a classification, this externship is more like an office tour.

 

don't get your hopes up of even landing a summer analyst position summer after your junior year, even AFTER doing one of these programs.

I interviewed with a different BB for one of these "externship" programs and they say while they take the fact that you did the program into account you are by no means guaranteed a summer analyst position for next year (which would be the all-important junior year internship)

 

not too many people are denied externship opportunities but since you're definitely going, make the most out of it by trying to get to know some of the people and get a feel for which group you want to work for (if you plan on staying at ubs next year)

 

Nope...we were supposed to hear back on Thursday, April 9th right? Have no idea why they haven't contacted us yet even though they gave us a firm date
