Input On What This Internship Entails - Global Markets Division

So I have a summer analyst internship this year at a large bank (though maybe not quite considered a bb.) I have been placed in the Global Markets Division with the Derivatives group. Would this be considered FO or MO IBD? Also does anyone have some sort of idea of what exactly I'll be doing?

Thank you

FutureLROAlso wouldn't mind if someone could recommend a book or two to read that would provide beneficial information.

Liar's Poker and The Big Short are two classics that primarily relate more to "markets" than to corporate finance (i.e. sales and trading vs. i-banking). They aren't very academic, but they'll give you some good background knowledge, especially on the FICC side of things.

With regard to more academic books, you'd probably have to ask other people. I work in banking, not S&T, so I'll let others chime in with suggestions.
