Internet Investment Banking - Top Players
Curious to hear the top players in US/EMEA in Internet Investment Banking.
Think most banks have this as a sub-vertical under Tech (none under Consumer come to mind - correct me if I’m wrong).
Can only speak for EMEA - would be your classic BB suspects, especially MS & GS. Citi is decent as well but not close to the former two.
Within EBs, Evercore is most likely to be on the landmark deals. Rothschild also strong but more UMM. The rest aren't active enough in landmark EMEA internet deals to be in the conversation here - as an example Moelis is strong in MM/UMM but just don't have a reputation to be close to being top advisor yet.
Know Allen & Co have been getting a lot of sh*t recently but in the US they are on lots of landmark internet mandates

Bank Street Group is a boutique that focuses in the space. Don’t know much about them, other than they’re based in Connecticut.
