Internship Recruiting - SA recruitment for BBs?

When will SA recruiting begin at the BB and top tier boutiques? Information sessions have already started, but does anyone know the common progression in terms of interviews? Also any advice in regards to prep would be helpful - i've only gotten the Rosenbaum book so far and haven't had the time to really get into it yet

Buy the BIWS financial modeling fundamentals. Helped me more than anything else. You can finish it before recruiting starts for sure. timelines depends on school. At my school resume drops are in dec and first round interviews are first week of jan

esbankerrosenbaum & pearl book + BIWS + M&I Interview Guide + seemingly normal personality --> 99.9% likely to receive offer

agreed MS and GS have both started early interviews. All BB's (don't know about elite boutiques but i assume they will be in on the fun too) will be doing study abroad / accelerated interviews through Fall. the more common cycle will begin with information sessions at targets this fall and into the end of january, and normal interviews will be early spring.

Will it be a lot harder to get into a BB or notable MM as a sophomore? If I went to a no name boutique this summer but did a lot of substantial work within transactions as a result of learning from biws and rosenbaum/pearl than would I be competitive for GS/MS/JPM junior year?
