Interviewing a candidate
As we all know a considerable part of the BBs' interviewing process is based on fit and situational questions.
So can you actually tell when a candidate you are interviewing starts chatting complete bollocks in a 'Tell me about a time when' ? And if you can then what would you do?
Not a recruiter or anything, but body language tends to be a decent indicator. If someone starts looking around a bit more than usual, maybe starts fidgeting a bit more or, in the most obvious cases, starts stuttering more or has to keep correcting themselves - these are the biggest indicators I've found.
True, but sometimes the person can be telling the truth but just nervous, hence these symptoms. However, this would speak more to their ability to work under pressure, if they are cracking from an easy social question...
