They were acquired by Houlihan earlier this year. I believe that might lead to a few headcount reductions
You're talking about Intrepid Financial Partners. I'm asking about Intrepid Investment Bankers (subsidiary of MUFG, acquired in 2019)
In LA? Ex- LA banker and have only ever heard only terrible terrible things about the culture. No exaggerating, I would work in wealth management before taking an offer from there.
They take any mandate, and just overall very low quality. All the analysts just constantly applying to lateral elsewhere.
Plenty of better banks in the area..
