Investment Banking Help

Hi All,

This is my first post on WSO. My name is Karan Kumar, I have received Master of Finance degree from Brandeis International Business School in May 2013 to accompany my MBA and BEng. (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degrees.

Currently I am looking for opportunities within Investment Banking, M&A, and corporate finance Industry. I have been trying and given numerous interviews for past 6 months or so but haven't closed on anything.

What disappoints me the most is I have applied in numerous banks like JPMorgan, Goldman, Big4 etc but to never hear anything from them other than a rejection!! I have seen some candidates who don't even know ABC of finance working in such prestigious bank. I am not jealous but want to know how they get into these banks.

I do get a lot attention from Corporate's - regarding Corporate Development
