Investment Banking interview- Weaknesses?

Hi guys,

I have an IB interview on Monday (first one ever) and I was preparing my strengths and weaknesses questions and for my weakness I was thinking of saying “too detail oriented and therefore lose sight of the big picture”. But I’m rethinking this now since I feel as though many people will use this line and the interviewers will know it’s complete bs.

What do you think? Should I keep it or go with something else?

Thanks!

LMAO, horrible answer.

The best way to answer this question is to be personal and talk about a true weakness, unless it's a really bad one (ex: addicted to meth, forgetful)

You want to talk about a weakness that won't turn off the employee that is asking you this horrible interview question, but a weakness that makes you relatable and personal.

Why would a meth addiction be a weakness for banking- pioneers used to grind on that shit for days

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.
