Is EVR Tech overtaking GS TMT / MS Menlo?

They just advised on the 115B Lumentum deal and earlier this year on the 23B PTC deal. I guess poaching ex-GS TMT seniors finally pays off.

Did they overthrone GS TMT and MS Menlo as the best tech IB team along with Q?

LMAO at the overreaction, EVR wasn't even lead. Don't get me wrong, they are a great shop and their Menlo team is killing it, but they are not at GS or MS level (though MS is having a lot of misses (both IPOs and M&As) recently)

This IMO. If anything, JPM SF is overtaking MS Menlo. EVR is still behind, they have some heavy hitters but it is not at the same depth/consistency as Q, GS, MS, or even JPM

GS this past week: Lead left on Anthropic's IPO, lead left on Meta's ~95bn equity raise, lead sell-side advisor on the Instacart/DoorDash deal. Before that, lead left on SpaceX's IPO, lead left on Google's ~90bn equity raise, lead sell-side advisor on the Hugging Face/NVIDIA deal.

Obviously, I'm sure they did a bunch of other high-profile deals this year. I honestly doubt EVR is displacing them or MS anytime soon.

y'all are sleeping on Citi, Vis has poached almost every top MD from JPM SF Tech and brought them over to Citi tech. Shows up in the lead on MRVL/LITE. Also hired CVP Menlo's founding partner as Head of Tech M&A, would not be surprised to see them beat JPM/MS for lead roles henceforth
