Not many real answers here but seriously: in what world do you think this would be acceptable? You’re literally asking if I can bring my doll to work (no don’t worry it has CLOTHES ON though!). That alone doesn’t seem wildly unprofessional to you?

That’s the primary reason. The secondary reason no one will say out loud is: that’s a feature of a very specific subculture that’s quite frankly not American. Do you have to have a bald eagle and flag on your desk? No. But if you were a football fan and had a signed autographed photo of Nick Saban on your desk, I could bet your MDs (who are most likely going to be older white guys) would subconsciously receive that better than this weird baby sized doll attached to your bag. Just food for thought, you don’t want to do anything that brings an outsized amount of attention you.

Every person hurling invectives in this comment section sits in the back office with an enormous chip on his shoulder.

Do whatever you want.  God is dead and nothing matters.  Most bankers wouldn't notice if you had 4 arms and a tentacle.  If anything, it could help be a personal identifier (read: we won't know your name for a year) and might even be a conversation starter with VP+ team members (even if it's just for them to say that their kids love them....)

I must be getting old because I actually had to google what a "labubu" was... Honestly, this depends on whether you are male or female.

Female -> Should be fine. I doubt any male colleagues you interact with would have any problems. Some of the females colleagues might have some snarky comments (behind your back, of course).

Male -> no bueno. Keep it at home.

no idea why this is blowing up rn, but i did bring my labubu to work (she was wearing a full suit and dress shoes dont worry) and everyone liked it 🤣. i bonded with my associate cuz of my labubu
