Is this a sketchy hiring situation?

I am currently in the process with a staffing company to get placement at a BB. The recruiting firm seems to be reputable; my concern is they are saying my pay would be handled through a third party (outsourced HR/payroll management). The base, benefits, and bonus are supposedly the same (do not have an offer at this point, but I am told I would be treated like a regular FT employee). Before I proceed further - is this sketchy? Has anyone seen a structure similar to this?

Not for MS IT but the description did make the position sound like it could be either MO or FO.

Couldn't find anything on this really anywhere, appreciate the insight.
