It's Time Prospects Hear About The Fall From Grace of EVR/M&CO

Prospects on this site still seem to rate EVR/M&CO as EBs who stand a fighting chance against the likes of Mount Olympus institutions such as PJT/CVP. They do not. EVR/M&CO are where Greenhill was pre-Mizuho (in M&CO's case, it was never that highly rated while in EVR's case, in recent times it's been slipping from grace rapidly).

M&CO and EVR alike have been scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to laterals, taking them from no-name semi-target and Canadian/Indian schools, while simultaneously dumpster diving for complete idiots at the SA level, almost to the same extent as a class at GS Virtual Insight Series.

I have lost all respect for either institution and would rate them closer to MM tier in terms of selectivity, prestige or exit opps. However, they still have decent dealflow as they have monstrously expanded headcount to become bloated abominations filled to the brim with idiots.
