Jobs after IB with the most attractive women?

Thinking about my next job and part of what I'm missing in the workplace are attractive women to keep me motivated and on top of my game. Considering a consulting lateral to a T1/T2 shop in NYC, maybe corporate for a consumer (fashion/beauty) focused brand, or for a marketing firm? Any more ideas

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some insights and ideas for roles where you might encounter a higher concentration of attractive women, particularly in industries or roles that align with your preferences:

  1. Consulting (T1/T2 Firms in NYC): Consulting firms, especially top-tier ones like MBB (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), tend to attract a diverse and polished workforce. The collaborative and client-facing nature of consulting often draws individuals who are socially adept and well-presented. NYC offices, in particular, are known for their vibrant and cosmopolitan talent pool.

  2. Corporate Roles in Consumer-Focused Brands: Working for companies in the fashion, beauty, or luxury goods sectors could align with your interests. These industries naturally attract individuals who are passionate about aesthetics and presentation. Roles in marketing, brand management, or strategy within these companies might provide the environment you're seeking.

  3. Marketing and Advertising Firms: Agencies that specialize in creative and branding work often have a dynamic and visually-oriented workforce. NYC is home to many top-tier marketing and advertising firms, which could be a good fit for your criteria.

  4. Sales and Trading (S&T): As mentioned in WSO threads, S&T divisions in finance are sometimes noted for having a higher emphasis on appearance due to the client-facing nature of the work. This could be another avenue to explore if you want to stay within the finance world but shift focus.

  5. Tech Startups with a Lifestyle or Consumer Focus: Many startups in NYC, especially those targeting lifestyle, fashion, or wellness, have a younger and trend-conscious workforce. These environments can be more casual and diverse compared to traditional corporate settings.

  6. Entertainment and Media Companies: NYC is a hub for media and entertainment, and companies in this space often attract creative and outgoing individuals. Roles in business development, strategy, or partnerships within these firms could be worth considering.

Remember, while workplace dynamics and culture are important, focusing on roles that align with your long-term career goals and interests will ultimately be more fulfilling.
