Honestly, I do know alittle about this company, if you are looking for investment banking, this is not the place to be. This is more of a consulting firm. For some reason they keep referring to themselves as an I-Bank. I recommend you do some research on them, but honestly its more consulting and advisory, not really strong modeling, etc.
Just out of curiosity, where / how did you hear this? It looks like they hav pretty good lower MM deal flow. The seniors bios are not extremely I'mpressive by any means, just trying to gather some more info. This is also for a lateral opportunity as I am trying to move to NYC
We did a small deal with them and they acted as an advisor, my group partnered on the deal. I wasn't involved with the deal personally since its before my time but we have to do quarterly updates on it so I got talk to some of them. Don't get me wrong, the people that work there are extremely friendly and they were easy going. However, if you are using this job to move to NYC, you will most likely be dissapointed in terms of pay structure. Don't expect a six figure salary, or even close to it. I don't really know your work experience, but if your goal is NYC, I suggest going for a stronger boutique.

Bump...anyone have any intel? Seems like they do a good bit of TMT work in MM
I interned for a similar/rival firm... Middle market sell side M&A shop, will get some decent healthcare, fintech, niche deals. I interviewed with an MD there, I might be able to answer some questions. It's not a bad place to start, do a year or two and leave. Relaxed environment.
Edit: (some helpful info) Deals will be $100M-150M area. Salary is probbaly around 70k with a small bonus pool
