Any suggestions on what to do.

Since you accepted the MM/Boutique IB in NYC, you should go with that unless you can work out another arrangement. Just maintain your contacts for the Global BB/MM and keep maintaining interest so you can be brought back in come full-time, perhaps they can even expedite the recruiting process. Do well in your internship.
