Junior summer at boutique IB - what else to do to catch up with BB interns

Hi everyone, I am a junior at a semi-target interning at a boutique investment bank this summer. I've just started interning for a week, but the deal flow is not that huge and there is no training at all. It's still pretty solid work - for this week only I've already done a dcf from scratch, conducted some industry research and written an investment teaser. However, my internship is nothing like an SA stint at a bulge bracket/ top MM firm with all the training and experience doing bigger deals, learning corporate finance at a deeper level and building more complicated models. I feel that I've missed out a lot this summer not being able to intern at a bigger firm, and I hope to seek some advice on what else I should do to catch up with the interns at top firms.

I will be doing full time recruitment as well this summer/fall and it would be great if I can get some advice on that too. I've been networking since May, but everyone says they are just trying to hire all the interns and positions for full time will be very limited.

Thanks in advance.
