I am in my third year at a nontarget. My goal is to get into investment banking. I got offered a summer internship with KPMG’s Deal Advisory in NYC. I am talking to individuals in the IB, but nothing concrete yet. KPMG wants my response soon, before IBD recruitment starts, but will this internship with KPMG’s Deal Advisory hinder my chances of getting into IBD?
To be more specific it's a rotational program with the different industry groups within their Financial Due Diligence division.
