Intern in IB-M&A

No offence, but how did you get a spring week with this CV

I didn't want to doxx myself so my actual one has slightly longer bullet points

Intern in ER

Bro put 2 words per line bro what fill that shit up wtf

I didn't want to doxx myself so I changed some of the bullet points. Regardless each experience has the same number of bullet points. I was thinking more format wise and also content wise.

True. But fr you should make the font smaller and jam as much relevant shit in there as possible. for uni, put coursework w highest grades and any awards/shit u can conjure up into another bullet. so 2-3 bullets total. a levels section is fine, maybe add an award if you can fit but 1 bullet is fine. sell the shit out the search fund. 3 bullets, one about origination, one on the techs (even if there werent any, like dont lie but discuss how u analyzed financial statements, maybe contributed to lbo - i did this for my search fund so not a stretch), and something else. for the spring weeks, 2 bullets each. one discussing what team/product you sat in, next some ways you helped or learned. for both the search fund and spring week try to include metrics/numbers of how you helped or contributed in some way to a kpi. prob difficult for spring week but for search fund, how much you sourced, what was target ebitda, multiples, whatever

this should help fill up the space

language not much u can do to fill it up, so thats fine

expand more on computer skills, more in the interests section/make it specific/more unique, volunteering is probably okay but its not enough words for its own point as it stands so either add more or get it tfo.

format is good ofc for the resume as a whole

Did you anonymise your bullet points? I assume you did because I can’t imagine getting multiple springs with that CV. If you’re going to anonymise it to that level you won’t get any good feedback on the actual content of your CV itself. Other than that I’d say your structure looks fine, can’t really comment beyond that

Basically yeah, what about format though? I'm not using times new roman font but is that fine? Is my resume good enough to get a bulge bracket or elite boutique summer internship?

Font & Sizing

Set all text to size 10.

Set all section headings/titles to size 11.

Bullet Point Formatting

Left-align all bullet points:
Press Alt + P, then set left indent to 0cm (instead of the default 0.64cm).

Date Formatting

For programmes or experiences that lasted one month or less, duplicate the month to maintain symmetry:
e.g. Apr 2024 – Apr 2024 (not Apr 2024 alone).

Content Simplification

Remove the “Computer Skills” section—basic skills aren't necessary to list.

Omit city and country details unless the location is relevant (e.g. international experience).

Header Details

ALL CAPS your name at the top.

Remove LinkedIn URL from the header—it can be searched if needed.

Interests are worthless unless the level that you are doing them/what makes anyone care that you have said interest worth them picking up on. Reading (what do you read? what specific things do you enjoy), Travelling (where, how much, when?), Trading ( what strategy? what market? what instrument?) Chess ( what is ur chess .com ranking)

otherwise you're just another cv in the stack

To be honest though mate,  you should not be here asking for CV advice.

It is not rocket science and is one of the most well-documented things you could get help on if you looked a bit harder. Just my 2 cents.

Sort of - but creating a CV is so widely documented, there are countless manuals/youtube videos.

Additionally, the individual attends a target uni, so all the possible resources one may require to develop their CV should be very accessible.

Looks like every other fooking candidate

Can't say much about the experience decent springs and roles

But condense the font and add more bullets
